Tips for Clogged Drain

Is your drain clogged? I know what it’s like. Water sits in the sink and won’t go down the drain. I want to share some tips for annoying clogged drains. Follow these simple methods for cleaning clogged drains in your home.

– Clogged with hair
Pour a bottle of hair remover down your drain. Let it sit for about a half an hour, then pour hot water down the drain. This will clean and remove the gunk and hair as it continues to move down the pipes and drains.

– Monthly drain cleaning
Use a half cup of baking soda and pour it into your drain, and then dump in a half cup of white vinegar. It will bubble and foam, so you can cover this with a towel. When it stops foaming flush the drain with very hot water for 2-3 minutes.

– Stubborn Slow-running drains
Pour 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of salt down your drain. Follow this with 8 cups of boiling water. Let sit for 30 minutes, and then flush with cool water.
